WANT TO SUPPORT QUEER YOUTH + THEIR ALLIES?

 Join our amazing team of adult advocates! 

Our Wilco Iris ™ advocate task force is open to anyone college-age and beyond who is interested in engaging with our community to promote our mission and resources for LGBTQIA+ youth. In this role, you have the opportunity to participate in annual events, carry out outreach efforts to raise awareness about Wilco Iris™ initiatives, and advocacy efforts. Practical ways you will serve might include:

  • Attending school board and PFLAG meetings

  • Staying up-to-date on legislative measures on state and national levels affecting LGBTQ+ youth 

  • Providing support at events

  • Consistently sharing about Wilco Iris with your community 

 

If you are interested, please fill out our application. All advocates must also participate in a Zoom interview. We look forward to hearing from you and getting you involved in supporting this wonderful group of students here in Williamson County.
