Wilco Iris™ is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to support and empower queer and questioning students and their allies through student-led, adult-supported programming, education, outreach work, and social events. Our adult advocates serve as representatives in the community to help foster a safer and more accepting environment for our students.

STUDENT SUPPORT GROUP
We are thrilled to be partnered with New Moon Rising Wellness for a FREE LGBTQIA+ Support Group.
This group offers high school students a supportive, affirming space to explore topics that matter most to them while connecting with peers who understand.
The group centers on comfort, authenticity, and belonging, allowing students to show up as they are and feel genuinely supported.

OUR MISSION
Wilco Iris™ supports LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies by providing a safe and nurturing environment for connection, outreach, and education. Our student-led group hopes to build an inclusive and empowered community for queer youth across all public, private, and home schools in Williamson County, TN.
OUR STORY
Wilco Iris™ is a student-led and adult-supported organization in Williamson County, Tennessee. Wilco Iris™ was formed in the fall of 2020 during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic as a branch of our former parent non-profit, Williamson Social Justice Alliance. We transitioned to our own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in response to local students expressing a continued need for a supportive and encouraging space for LGBTQIA+ teenagers to meet, forge powerful friendships, and work together to help build an empowered and inclusive community.
